01 — Collection of personal data

Diplamus Guide does not collect, request, or store personal data that identifies you. No account creation, registration, or login is needed. The application does not gather names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying contact information, and creates no user profiles.

02 — Location data

The app uses your device's location solely to show you content and information relevant to the area you are in. Access requires your device's operating system permission. Location information operates temporarily during app use, remains local, is not recorded on servers or devices, stays unlinked to your identity, and is not distributed to external parties for marketing or analysis purposes. You may withdraw location access through device settings at any time, though certain features may become unavailable.

03 — Permissions requested by the app

The application may request:

Location: displaying area-specific information as previously described.
Internet access: retrieving current content for in-app display.

Permission grants remain optional and adjustable through device settings.

04 — Third-party services

Diplamus Guide is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store. These distribution platforms may collect certain technical and statistical data regarding app installations and usage, in accordance with their own privacy policies. 05 — User rights

Since the app does not retain personal data that identifies you, no processing record exists from which any information could be retrieved or deleted. Users maintain applicable rights regarding access, correction, deletion, processing limitations, objection, and data portability. You may file complaints with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

06 — Minors

The app is intended for the general public and does not knowingly collect personal data from minors on behalf of Ionian University. Since no personal information is collected from any user, minors' app usage involves no personal information processing.

07 — Security

Ionian University implements reasonable technical and organizational protections for app security. Because no personal data of users is collected or stored, the risk associated with the processing of personal data through the app is substantially limited.

08 — Content accuracy and limitation of liability

Ionian University works to ensure information displayed in the app remains, as far as possible, accurate, true, and up to date. Content and services are provided "as is." Under no circumstances shall Ionian University be liable for any claims of a legal, civil, or criminal nature, nor for any damage (positive, special, or consequential) to the user.

09 — Changes to this policy

Ionian University reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy whenever deemed necessary. Updated versions will include new dates at the same location. Reviewing this page periodically is recommended.
